The Great Rupert (1950)

Barry, Lydia and Christopher are just nuts over the little squirrel, Rupert, in the 1950 Jimmy Durante film, The Great Rupert! (aka, A Christmas Wish)

Oethel ratings for this month:
Lydia with a solid 3,
Christopher gives it a 3 1/2,
and Barry gives it a 3 and says “it immediately gives you a wonderful character, dazzles you with George Pal effects, then puts everyone’s favorite jump roping squirrel in the background for most of the running time. Lots of charm and a distinctly Capra-esque feel but needed more Rupert.
